Countdown.

This picture speaks a 1,000 words on it own.  I believe that everyday we should do all we can to conserve energy and protect the environment.  With my residential electricity bill and the transportation fares hiking (to be hiking) up significantly, I am getting more worried about how I am going to provide and enhance my family's lifestyle. 

What have I been doing to make a difference?
#1. Raise awareness to my tuition students; and
#2. Doing little things like, switching off lights when I am out of the room, climbing stairs (which I enjoy) etc.

To create a change, it always begins with yourself.  To make an impact, it has to be a collective effort. 
Be the change you want to see.  Influence others to see a positive change. :)

19th May 2012 WP 1st By-election Rally 24th May 2012 @ WP Final By-election Rally with Uncle Ah Luck & Auntie :) On 19th May 2012: I witnessed Uncle Ah Luck selling the Hougang Special By-election newsletters in a very enthusiastic fashion. So I asked Ah Luck whether he needed to have a sip of water. He replied he was fine. After that he said, we were doing was for a better future. Personal Perspective on CHC Fiasco

My personal perspective on the City Harvest Church fiasco: #1. God is omnipresent (present everywhere), omnipotent (all powerful), omniscient (all knowing) and God knew about this episode. I believe God is watching.; #2. The CAD does not charge without concrete evidence (they have taken sufficient time to investigate - 2 years). May justice prevail.; #3. It is unavoidable for members of the public with little information about Christianity to judge.  It is also one of my weaknesses to be quick to judge/form negative impression about others, which is unhealthy.; #4. I believe to a certain extent, the message of giving and tithing is relatively strong in City Harvest Church - I may be wrong.  (fyi, I have visited the church a couple of times) My personal belief is that it is important to give to God because God is the creator of everything that exists. Invitation to Happy's Birthday Party

Invitation to Happy's Birthday Party! Today, how's your 2nd day of the Chinese Lunar New Year? Hope it has been fun! I'm having a good time... Will be heading out for Valentine's Day the movie. Had abundance of quality time with my bestie yesterday for Valentine's Day cum 1st day of the Tiger Year. Photos will be up on this blog soon. You'll see lots of beautifully taken pictures plus POLAROIDS! Yays! ~ I really really thank God for my bestie! It seems that she's able to understand me pretty well emotionally. I've came to realise that not all whom I disclose my feelings to will be able to understand what I need. Yeah, it might sound demanding somewhat. That's what separates Best Friend from others I suppose. ~ Been thinking more frequently about the past lately. Uncertain why it did not affect me subconsciously.
