I find it intriguing to know that there are 10 major religions listed on the Inter-Religious Organisation (Singapore) website. I did not know about Jainism and also do not know of anyone of that faith. But will I go and find out more? Is there a motivation? Personally, I am quite a curious individual and I would like to get to know people from different walks of life. However, the motivation to attend activities and gatherings organised by the various organisations is little. It is not in contradiction with what I have mentioned earlier. It is just that I have priorities and I would rather spend time with people and things that matter than attending these functions. On the other hand, if I have friends who invite me to their places of worship or share with me about their religion, I would be glad enough to visit and listen.
