New Year Resolution 2014

Just made a list of my New Year Resolution for 2014.  I have been practicing this for the past 4 years.  As I looked at my list for 2013, I am happy to have achieved 6/10 of the goals that I have set for myself.  2013 has truly been a truly amazing year because:- 1) Spiritually, I believe that God has been calling me to return home.  With my new job at Christian Outreach to the Handicapped, I have been experiencing his love and grace abundantly. 2) I had the opportunities to tread on unfamiliar grounds; doing things I didn't know I was capable of, such as, devotion sharing and emceeing for a work-related event. 3) Wedding & Marriage preparation made me realise how much I treasure my loved ones.  Additionally, I also made effort to do things that I used to think I am uninterested in, e.g. cooking. 4) Cherish all my friendships and newfound friendships even more as I age. 5) Want to become a better human because I do not know when my time will be ...

Monthly Goals

Do you make a list of goals every month and review it at the end of the month? It is something that I have been doing since 2009 and think it is a good practice. Just want to share with you a few of my goals that I list every time and will continue listing for a long time (though it is sometimes challenging to achieve). #1. Daily quiet time with the Lord; #2. Time with family (Happy included); #3. Meaningful time and anniversary with Nat; #4. Tithing and give to my parents; and #5. Complete reading a book. Hope this inspires you to set goals for yourself which are meaningful to you. Have a great day! Pam

The Livestock Farmer & Achieving Goals

22nd July 2011: Hey guys, I just made a loan to a Livestock Farmer, Mr. Khairiddin via Kiva: http://www.kiva.org/lend/316459 From the profile, I understand that Khairiddin wishes to expand his business and he lacked the monetary funds.  What I would love to do is to be a part helping him to fulfill his biggest dream. :)  Everyone has their dreams, so do I and I'm trying my best to work towards my goal!  The Livestock Farmer reminds me that everything is possible!  At this beginning stage, I need perseverance and God's Holy Spirit to guide me the most! :D  Shall do my best and leave it to God! Love, Pam Petite
