Leisure Acrylic Painting

Mobile Blogging: Finally I had the opportunity to try leisure acrylic painting at Arteastiq. It was a therapeutic and indulging experience because I simply love art. I wish I had more time to paint properly because at the last half an hour I was struggling to complete my painting. Within 3 hours, I should've chosen to work with only 3 acrylic colours but I chose quite a number of colours. Therefore, that was a valuable lesson learnt. :) Here are some pictures. A lot of room for improvement. Additionally, I'm thinking of signing up for the Western Painting short course at NAFA. That will come true if I can work out time from my schedule and budget appropriately. Pam Petite

Pictures from "Quest for immortality - The World of Ancient Egypt" Quite a simple exhibition which I enjoyed very much. The 1st exhibition I went to visit on my own on a weekday. It was a very nice feeling, to be exploring & getting to know more about history. :) Pam Petite
27th Mar 2010: Earth Hour Night! However, it was my 1st meal of the day as I was feeling unwell... Anyways, the picture from the top is of 1 of the art installation on the walk way to esplanade. I like the theme, "Threads". (hope I did not recall wrongly) Go have a look if you happen to be in the area. :) Pam Petite
Still in the process of doing up my latest drawing... Feeling jaded today... Watched this: Made me cry! I totally need to tear... Now I know I can't be unoccupied when I'm feeling down... Pam Petite

Expensive Artwork

Lucian Freud's - Benefits supervisor sleeping. The most expensive painting sold during an artist lifetime - US $33.6m. Oh yeah, I do like Lucian Freud's paintings. I love art pieces by old masters. Thank God Fine Art still exists.
