Movie: Up in the Air Chocolate Affogato Me with "The Veal Thing" WL with his "Chicken & Mushroom Sandwich" The Veal Thing Chicken & Mushroom Sandwich Colourful Me! Midori Some chocolatey cake which I can't recall the name Watched "Up in the air" a definite must-watch! I think the movie was smart, funny and unusual. This film officially made me like George Clooney. (not as a fave actor but I saw him as a good actor) There were many moments in the plot that I would say, "Sounds like me." ~ Had dinner with WL @ TCC. Thanks for the dinner I must say. It was oh-so-delicious! :) Wrote my food review at: Hungry go where Just a short write-up of good food. ~ Had our dessert @ 1 Caramel. My 2nd visit. My selection of cakes weren't as good as the 1st time. Nevertheless, my tea selection was enough to compensate. ~ I had a great evening of movie & dining. Have a wonderful weekend too! ~ Sidetrack: I want to get an iphone soon! Love, Pam...

Marley & Me

*Marley & Me* Watch with my bestie, Xue Ying yesterday night... The movie was very much like a drama series... Truly down-to-earth... And not much to expect... Nevertheless, it was realistic and I immersed myself totally into the characters' roles as a typical newly-wed to their honeymoon days to them establishing a family, and ultimately trying to maintain it as a close-knitted one, and so on... (how they took on life...) All these time, Marley was there and part of the journey. When Marley finally passed on, I applaud him for being the Best Friend they never had... Love, Pampi (ooloo)
** I WANNA BE A ROCK STAR!!!** Especially Loving: Some Girls - Rolling Stones The movie was like a two-dimensional broadway / rock 'n' roll musical. And I love musicals. This film kind of conform me to liking Rolling Stones. I should say that Martin Scorsese succeeded in his objective. Rolling Stones are damn cool. Mick Jagger is such a talented musician. Love his energy. Lots of dancing about. He's way coool for his age. However, no matter what, Steven Tyler rules. It's his voice that I like. I drifted peacefully to sleep while listening to The Best of Aerosmith album that night. Oh and check out what I found: Bebe Buell (mother of Liv Tyler) Was browsing through her profile and found it absolutely appetizing. She dated so many rock stars! Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones, Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin, and Steven Tyler of Aerosmith... Wow! She must really be a beauty. Anyways, she is an Oscar Wilde enthusiast. (one of our similarities?) I just f...

Labour Day

Watched Harold & Kumar 2 and I totally enjoyed it... I must admit I like silly movies. I should go rent the debut of this movie... I actually thought the ending was sweet. Especially the part where Kumar appeared at the wedding ceremony and said he loves Vanessa for who she is and would not try to change anything about her. Aww... I think that was really sweet. Hee... And his poem was absolutely hilarious... Kumar Patel : [reciting the poem 'The Square Root of 3'] I'm sure that I will always be / A lonely number like root three / The three is all that's good and right, / Why must my three keep out of sight / Beneath the vicious square root sign, / I wish instead I were a nine / For nine could thwart this evil trick, / with just some quick arithmetic / I know I'll never see the sun, as 1.7321 / Such is my reality, a sad irrationality / When hark! What is this I see, / Another square root of a three / As quietly co-waltzing by, / Together now we multiply / To form...
