John 16: 21 A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but when her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world. This verse spoke to me today as I have been pondering about childbirth.  No, I am not pregnant at the moment but I have been gathering information as to whether I should go for natural or caesarean when my time comes.  I have to admit I have the fear of giving birth but I love children.  Therefore, giving birth to a child is something I hope that I'll have the privilege to go through.  Meanwhile, I have to pray to God faithfully about preparing Nat and I to be good parents.  Spoke to a church couple whom I look up to on Sunday.  Learned some tips there.  Disciplining my future children also means that I have to be disciplined. :)  Will continue learning! Read the full article  here.   It totally spoke to me, since I am currently in the season of planning to start a family. Literally weeping while reading this. Just watched a video regarding natural childbirth.  I must say that I really cringe at the words, "give birth" due to the scary images of TV drama serials and my own mother's experience (she gone through the C-section aka Caesarean ).  However, I have met a few relatively young mothers and most of them encouraged me to give birth in the natural way when my time comes.  One of them told me several advantages, one of which is that in some/rare cases if you choose to go through the C-section for your first child, there is a risk that you may not be able to give birth to another child (cannot remember the reasoning but it did discourage me to go through the operation and instead to go natural).  I am not sure how scientifically correct this information is but have tried researching a little on this.  Overall, it seems that there are aplenty advantages for natural childbirth.
